Attaching a chemical or water pack
Remove the plastic cap from a 120 ml chemical or water pack (be sure to keep the cap). Replace cap when pack is not attached to the Wedgle Direct-Inject injection unit. Place the injection unit on a flat surface. Locate the QC coupler on top of the unit. Slide and hold down the outer ring of the coupler. Remove and save the dust plug, then insert the stem of the 120 ml pack into the coupler. Release the coupler to secure the pack to the Direct-Inject unit. If you are using the High-Volume kit, attach one end of the transfer line to the top QC coupler; attach the other end to the 1000 ml chemical pack.
Priming the Wedgle Direct-Inject injection unit
Prime the unit without an injection tip attached. It is preferable to prime the unit with an ArborSystems water pack to avoid wasting chemical. Prime by squeezing the handles rapidly several times, forcing the air out of the unit.
