ArborSystems Direct-Inject™ Systems protect tree vigor and prevent long-term wounding
With no drilling required, our Direct-Inject Systems:
Minimize wounding and compartmentalization.
Prevent air from getting into the tree.
Allow multiple or annual treatments.
Require no drills, power supply, or bulky equipment.
“Drilling holes
in trees makes
no sense.”

Dear Tree Care Pro:

Medical doctors often take an oath that begins “First, do no harm.” We arborists and tree care professionals would do well to do the same.

When making curative or preventative tree treatments, the last thing one should do is damage the tree simply by making the treatment. Yet this is what happens with many of the techniques used today, especially when drilling holes into trees to inject chemicals.

Since my early years in the tree care industry, I’ve cringed at drilling methods. I knew it was bad for trees–and there just had to be a better way. In addition to the damage drilling caused, it just takes too much time. These reasons inspired the creation of ArborSystems and the Wedgle Direct-Inject system.

Now, with our Direct-Inject systems, tree care pros can make efficient trunk injections year after year–without causing long-term damage or leaving easy entry points for pests, disease, or decay fungi. ArborSystems offers the first and only sustainable tree injection solution.

We encourage you to try our systems and chemicals and discover this fast, effective, tree-friendly way to treat trees.

Doing what is right for the trees,

Protect your trees...   from drilling damage

The Direct-Inject systems inject chemical directly through the bark without damaging sapwood.   Drilling wounds compartmentalize, permanently damaging the tree’s ability to move and store nutrients.
Small holes penetrate the bark only. WedgeCheks seal in chemicals; seal out pests, fungi, etc.   Deep holes through bark and sapwood provide easy entry for pests, decay fungi, and bacteria.
No air is allowed into the vascular system maintaining nutrient movement.   Air is allowed into the vascular system, disrupting water and nutrient movement.
Multiple or annual treatments can be made without injuring the tree.   Repeated drilling causes permanent injury and can seriously impact tree vitality.

Drilling for micro-injection or implants permanently damages tree sapwood reducing the tree’s ability to move water and nutrients and store food, plus wounding can encourage pests and disease.

Promote tree vigor. With no drilling required, the Wedgle™ Direct-Inject™ System prevents long-term wounding and potential decay.
