Maryland Arborist comments about the Wedgle:

“It’s very convenient and it’s fast…For anybody treating trees as a business, I’d recommend the Wedgle. We primarily use Pointer Insecticide to control adelgids on hemlocks, and aphids and soft scale on mature trees. When treating for adelgids, we often spray and inject. But with spraying, the highest you can cover is about 50 feet, and not even that on windy days. With the Wedgle I’m getting right into the tree’s vascular system so I know I’m reaching the entire tree—all the way to the top. It’s effective and environmentally sound. Plus, the Wedgle requires a lot less equipment than spraying.”
