The presentation featured in NAA magazine highlighted several significant contributions to the field of arboriculture through Chip Doolittle’s development of his Wedgle Tree Injection System and the beginning of his company, ArborSystems, in 1993. He has several patents for his tree treatment systems and has taught numerous tree injection workshops around the United States. He worked with University of Nebraska – Nebraska Forest Service to help solve the problem of Pine Wilt and in 2006, they came up with a treatment method. Positions held include NAA president elect, president and past president; board member of ISA Midwest Chapter and Nebraska certified arborist. He cares about tree care.
