The WedgeChek Punch removes a plug of bark so the WedgeChek can be inserted. WedgeCheks allow the Injection Tip to slide easily through the bark and seal the injection site keeping chemicals in and air and pests out. As long as the bark is tight around the WedgeChek, you can use it repeatedly during the growing season. As the tree grows, it will be pushed out of the tree. The beauty of the Wedgle Direct-Inject System is that you can inject multiple times or apply more than one chemical into the same site without damaging the tree’s internal structure.
